Plans Campus Workday

MURFREESBORO, NC – The Chowan University Alumni Association
(CUAA) has planned a campus workday for Saturday, July 19, 2008.
Participants are asked to meet in front of the McDowell Columns Building
at 9AM. Alumni who live in the surrounding area are encouraged to
participate in this event filled day.
According to Mike Temple, Director of Alumni Relations, campus projects
will include painting, power washing, and other projects that will
beautify the campus. “We are hoping to have a great turnout from our local
alumni for the campus workday. The more participants we have, the more
projects we can accomplish. I encourage our alumni to come back to Chowan
and give one day of their time for this workday.”
Participants will receive a free picnic lunch and t-shirt from the CUAA.
