Alumni Association members across the country recruit top applicants to
Chowan through direct contact or through programs. To attract the best and
brightest students, the CUAA can provide merit and need-based

§ CU Today magazine and CU Connect informs readers of Chowan’s
achievements, challenges, people, and programs.
Faculty Support
The Alumni Association assumes the responsibility of recognizing and
awarding outstanding and deserving faculty. Each year, the Association
will recognize faculty members for their dedication, commitment, and
arduous work.
Student Membership
Through Chowan’s new STAT initiative (Students Today Alumni Tomorrow),
undergraduate members will receive benefits, services and discounts and
build a lifelong connection with their alma mater.
Homecoming
The Alumni Association helps keep Chowan traditions alive. Each fall,
alumni and current students are invited to Homecoming —a weekend of
entertainment, including tailgates, reunions, and of course, the lively
and famous Homecoming Parade.
