Greg Zephir ’98

Greg Zephir ‘98 was honored with the Young Alumnus Award, which recognizes the achievements of Chowan’s four-year graduates. After graduating from Chowan, he attended East Carolina University where he earned a Master of Public Administration. In 2004, Greg completed the Municipal Administration course from the University of North Carolina Chapel-Hill, School of Government. From 2001-2005, Greg served as the Town Manager for the Town of Bethel, North Carolina. He presently serves as Town Manager for the Town of Troy, North Carolina. Greg has maintained his ties with Chowan serving as a past member of the Alumni Board of Directors. Greg and his wife, Alicia, have one daughter, Logan, and are expecting their second child in December.
