History

In 1853, Chowan University welcomed its first graduate to the alumni body. Today, the officially recognized "Chowan University Alumni Association" represents an organization of over 10,000 members and serves as a vital link between Chowan University Alumni and the University, its trustees, visitors, administrative staff, faculty, and students.
